<b><span style="color: #bf9000;">REASONS NOT TO JUMP INTO A RELATIONSHIP OR COMMITMENT</span></b><br /> <br /> A lot of folks go into relationships for a lot of funny and faulty reasons, jump out of that relationship and start putting blames on their exes for things that went wrong or things they didn't do or say.<br /> <br /> First, we should specify what type of relationship and what that relationship should mean cos it's no news that there are different types of relationship. For this publication, we'd be talking about the romantic relationship or "the more than friends" relationship. This relationship should be a commitment to your partner to try as  much as possible in making them comfortable with you both emotionally, sexually,mentally and psychologically because comfort is what everyone longs for. Some of the wrong reasons people go into relationships are:<br /> <br /> -Peer pressure<br />   Peer pressure can come in different forms but the most obvious one is pressure from words of our peer while the most deadly one is reverse psychological pressure. Here you hear the person under pressure saying things like "cos you now have a boyfriend, you're rubbing it in my face right,I'd go get my own boyfriend". They start making moves out of jealousy till they land in the worst relationship of all and they still blame their friends for not stopping them from carrying on with it.<br /> <br /> -"I've been single for too long"<br />     Loneliness is not an excuse to enter a relationship cos all you really need to cure your boredom is lively friends or a change of environment and neither is sexual starvation an excuse. If sex is all you want then be specific with them or better still look for a hooker cos unless you wanna go through emotional torment at the end of the day,it's better to be specific from the onset about what you want from any type of relationship with the opposite sex. For your information, you can be in a relationship with the best person or having sex with a pro and still be lonelier than a single person.<br /> <br /> -increase in age<br />    People would think because they've gotten to certain age range then they can go into a relationship cos time waits for no man forgetting the fact that to sustain a relationship, one need both mental and emotional maturity and not increase in number of days on earth. Some may argue that the older you get, the more mature you are which is sometimes true but even though maturity increases with age,increase in age is not equivalent to increase in maturity level.<br /> <br /> -Parental pressure<br />      I had to point this out again cos the rate at which people go into relationships and marriages cos of parental pressure is alarmingly high. So what if she wants a grand child, so what if they want an in-law, so what if all your friends are getting married by the month, so fucking what? Everybody got their life to live and everybody has their path to take so for you good,have a rethink before conceding to this pressure. Giving a person what they're not ready for is dangerous so why go through that danger for pressure when you're the only one who's gonna wear the shoe and feel the pain when it start pinching cos it's definitely gonna pinch in ways unimaginable.<br /> <br /> Here are some of the reasons why you shouldn't go into a relationship but to balance the beam,I'd give a few reasons why you could go into a relationship:<br /> <br /> -date that guy or girl cos you are ready to be committed to them. Whatever your terms and meaning of commitment may be is up to ye but you both must agree to the terms and conditions to enjoy to the fullest your relationship.<br /> <br /> -go into that relationship cos you are ready to learn and grow into someone that your future self would be proud of. I know some may think it's cruel to use others as practice for understanding the opposite sex and getting a better marriage but it's a game for two cos while he learns,she does too and even faster than him.<br /> <br /> -go into that relationship cos you're ready to grow with your partner or into a more reliable person since it's needed if you wanna enjoy your life long partnership.<br /> <br />        A relationship is supposed to be a committed partnership to that person to improve their live in anyway you can since improving theirs improves yours too. The difference between a relationship and a marriage is the ring so let's treat the relationship with sincere commitment and care.<br /> <br /> <br />         <b>LEO.</b>
